Hello CWC members!

Can’t believe we are already into March!  It was fantastic to see so many of you at our Member Appreciation Event on February 12th at Limani!   I hope you all had as much fun as I did, connecting with wonderful friends, enjoying a delicious lunch and listening to our engaging speaker!  I could feel the energy in the room, and it was so great to have many of our new members join us!    Be sure to take a look at all of the awesome pictures in our newsletter below!

One of our goals is to continue to grow our CWC membership.  Our private Facebook group is one of our primary strategies to accomplish this.  After 3 months of CWC members interacting in the Facebook group, it is time to open it up to friends of members.  Please use the link below to invite friends into our Facebook group.  Your friends can join our Facebook group to learn more about us and interact with us, and this in turn might inspire them to eventually join our club!  Thanks for helping us all welcome others to our community!

Our next big social event is our “Starry Night” STEM fundraiser on March 28th at Ballantyne Country Club.  This special evening will feature a delicious Italian buffet dinner, a bourbon tasting table, a silent auction with over 30 amazing baskets, and a bourbon basket raffle featuring exceptional “hard to find” bourbons.  And of course, the most important feature of the event will be the opportunity to benefit Sterling Math and Science and make a difference for underserved elementary school students in Charlotte.  Please join us and make a positive difference in a child’s life!   I’m looking forward to seeing many of you there!

Carolina Women's Club Membership Appreciation Luncheon

The Carolina Women’s Club gathered on February 12, 2025, for a delightful Membership Appreciation Luncheon at Limani’s in Phillips Place. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with camaraderie, delicious cuisine, and inspiring conversation as we celebrated our valued members.

Our featured speaker, Amy Burkett, General Manager of WTVI, Charlotte’s PBS station, captivated the audience with her engaging talk on leadership, personal growth, and the power of public media in our community. Amy’s insights and experiences left attendees feeling motivated and empowered to make an impact in their own lives and beyond.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, share stories, and strengthen friendships. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and to our dedicated event organizers who made this luncheon a success.

We look forward to more memorable gatherings throughout the year! Watch for information on our upcoming Spring Luncheon on May 14, 2025.
