UPDATE ON ABBIE VOLPINI: Abbie is staying with her daughter and receiving
physical therapy at home. Second spinal surgery soon. She sends her very best
to this committee!

local Title 1 schools.

spoke about the organization’s mission to support those in need. She
detailed six key programs, and highlighted the similarities between
the Assistance League and Carolina Women’s Club.

*ASSISTANCE LEAGUE CRAFT KIT DRIVE*

From Tuesday, April 1 st to Tuesday, April 15th we will be collecting craft
items to make craft kits to be handed out to homeless children in the
Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for summer entertainment.
The items we will be collecting include: Coloring books, crayons, pencils
(colored and regular), colored markers, paint sets, paper (regular and
construction), notebooks, diaries, scissors (safety), sticker books, small
games, card games, small cars and trucks, action figures, Disney
princesses or figures, Barbie dolls, Play Doh, and yo-yos! Let your children
and grandchildren be your guide!
