Great News! Additional funds to share with our non-profits have been found for our Philanthropy efforts this year…more news to come.

Summer Drive Review: Promising Pages (Dorinda Jenkins)

Still accepting books, but expectations are that over 300 will have been collected! If you have more, you can contact Dorinda or order them via the Amazon gift link. There were lots of high interest, diverse titles, which are much appreciated by Promising Pages.

September 17th Limani Luncheon: Philanthropy Tables

Thank you to Melissa Waters & Susie Marlier for all their hard work over the summer. There is still time to sign up for the lunch. If you are working at one of the Philanthropy tables, please arrive by 10:45 a.m. Be sure to encourage attendees to visit our tables to learn more about us!

*PRESIDENT’S REMARKS: LAUREY COSENTINO*

Our two big philanthropic social events for the year are the Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, December 3rd, to be held at Longview Country Club in Waxhaw, in support of Safe Alliance. The STEM event on the evening of Sunday, March 22nd will also likely be held at Longview. Watch for news on the new Casino activity at this event! In both cases this exciting new venue will allow for more attendees and vendors. Julie Ryba is handling vendors for the Holiday luncheon, if you’re interested. There will also be a continued effort to grow the membership, with a goal of 250 members. Business cards and flyers explaining what CWC is are available for sharing with friends and contacts, which can be ordered from Nancie Torrence. Prospective members events are also being planned.
