The Gantt Center is leading cultural institution dedicated to celebrating and preserving African-American art, history, and culture. It presents exhibitions, performances, films, and educational that highlight the contributionsof African Americans and people of African descent.
Come enjoy a special day with us- an inspiring enhanced guided tour. We will experience a 2 hour tour: 1 hour tour of current exhibitions + 1 hour workshop. Enjoy a docent-led tour, which includes the history of Gantt Center and a discussion of the artists and exhibitions on view. End your experience with a hands-on workshops led by a teaching artist. In the workshops, participants create their own artwork inspired by the exhibitions on display and the artists' unique styles.
Following the tour joins us for a relaxing lunch at Mimosa Grill a upscale-casual restaurant known for blending Southern cuisine with global flavors which is walking distance.
We will meet at the center around 10:45 am in the lobby.

Parking is available in the Levine Center for the Arts parking garage, 101 W. Brooklyn Village Avenue, located across the street from the Gantt Center. Visitor parking is availalbe on levels P! and P2. When you arrive at the Gantt, ask a vistor experience associate for a discounted parking pass.
