Contract Rummy is a fun card game to play with friends or to help introduce you to new ones. Also known as May 1 Rummy, it consists of seven rounds of play. Players try to produce the correct combination of cards to be able to create “sets” or “runs” or a combination of both, each with a different goal. As the game continues, the combination for each subsequent hand becomes more difficult. Each round has a winner and whoever has the lowest total score after 7 rounds is the overall winner.

Our monthly games are fun and competitive but, most importantly, they give us a chance to laugh, talk, bond, and use our competitive skills to win! Each month we take turns hosting and meeting at a member’s house.

The cost of an entry, or “ante,” is $5.50. We ask members to please bring singles, since the money is split among winners.
